About the course:
The Production course builds on the Northbrook Theatre department’s high reputation for excellence in technical theatre, stage management, theatre design and design crafts.
Full production experience on a range of public shows in The Northbrook Theatre and our new studio theatre makes this course unique in the region.
Resources include fully equipped professional theatre with ETC Ion lighting desk, intelligent and generic lighting fixtures, DigiCo Digital Sound Desk, wireless and shotgun microphones, projector, video mapping software, QLab workstations, wireless technical intercom, hemp and counterweight fly tower, wardrobe, make-up and prop studios, paint gallery and scenic workshop.

English and Maths are part of the core programme of study. Students who have not achieved grade A*-C / 9-4 in English or Maths will be required to study the appropriate level as part of their main qualification. More information

Entry Requirements:
To start on this course you need:
At least 3 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English and maths
or
a relevant Level 1 qualification, including English and Maths requirements
You will be invited to show relevant examples of your work at interview.
(Students with at least 4 GCSEs at A-C / 9-4 (including English) may be able to start on the Level 3 course instead.)
Progression / Career:
After 1 year at Level 2, you can achieve a University of the Arts London (UAL) Level 2 Diploma in Production Arts. This means you can apply for Level 3 of this course or one of the other Level 3 courses in this department – or for related A Levels or further professional training.
Funding:
Age 16-17 starters -You will not have to pay fees on condition you are still under 19 on 31st August in each year of the course.
Age 18+ starters – Some students may have to pay for part of their course. More information»
